International Student & Scholar Advisor
Biography
As an International Student and Scholar Advisor, Charlotte works with international students, scholars, and administrators regarding federal immigration and employment regulations, Emory resources, and related matters.
Originally from Bellingham, Washington, Charlotte attended Western Washington University and studied French and Linguistics with minors in TESOL and Music. While in college, she had the opportunity to study abroad for a semester in France and a summer in Norway, which began her passion for international education. After graduating, Charlotte worked for a nonprofit organization where she facilitated international exchanges across fields such as agriculture, business, and science.
Charlotte moved to Atlanta in 2020 after earning her Master of Arts in International Education Management from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in Monterey, California. Priory to joining Emory, she worked as an Assistant Director in the ISSS Office at Georgia State University.
In her free time, Charlotte enjoys long-distance running, reading, and playing Dungeons & Dragons.
