Biography

As a Senior Advisor, Demi Ongolo works with international students, scholars, and administrators regarding federal immigration and employment regulations, Emory resources, and related matters.

Demi is an advocate passionate about helping individuals and families in their unique immigration needs. She is committed to providing thorough and tailored service to the Emory community. Demi joined Emory's ISSS office after working in the private sector as an immigration attorney and as a senior academic advisor at the Emory School of Law. Demi holds a J.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a B.A. in Environmental Science & Policy from Duke University. 

Demi enjoys multicultural exchange and has enjoyed calling Atlanta home with her family for the last few years.
