Document Pick-up and Shipping

ISSS can receive mail from Emory Mail Services and/or mail couriers (DHL, FedEx, UPS, USPS, etc.) Monday through Friday. After receiving and processing your mail, ISSS will notify you by email. This email will include instructions on how to request to have the document mailed to you.

If ISSS has issued you a new document, you will receive an email stating that your request has been processed and a new document has been issued. This email will include instructions on how to request to have the document mailed to you.

If you need to drop off a document, please send it to ISSS via intercampus mail (MSC 1784 001 1AV) or mail courier (DHL, FedEx, UPS, USPS, etc.)

Alternative options:

1) Submit the Document Pick-Up Authorization e-form in ISSS Link to designate someone else to pick-up the document(s) on your behalf.

2) Submit the Document Shipment Request e-form in ISSS Link to create an account with eShipGlobal and pay for the express mailing of your document(s).

Once you have logged into your ISSS Link account, both e-forms can be found under “General Services” on the left sidebar menu.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Who can pick up my documents and how will they know when to come to ISSS to pick-up my document(s)?

We recommend that you have your document(s) picked up by a trusted friend, classmate, colleague, relative, or spouse. Once the e-form is completed and submitted, the person you have authorized to pick up your document(s) on your behalf will receive a confirmation e-mail.

Does the person designated to pick up my document(s) need to present my identification to ISSS when they visit the office?

No, they do not need to present your identification. However, the person you designate will need to present their own photo identification (Emory ID, passport, driver’s license etc.) in order for ISSS to release the document(s) to them. Additionally, they will need to show the email confirmation they received after you submitted the e-form.

What is eShipGlobal?

eShipGlobal is offered by University Express Mail Service (UEMS), and it provides a simple way for you to create an account, choose your preferred shipping company, pay for the shipment, and track your package.

When will I receive the shipment and how much will it cost?

The shipping time and cost will vary depending on your package’s destination and the shipping company you select. EShipGlobal provides the following shipping options: FedEx, UPS, and DHL.

You will have the option to compare estimated delivery time and costs once you have created an account and completed the shipping label.

Will I be notified when my package is ready to be shipped?

Yes. You will receive an email from ISSS to inform you when your request has been processed, and when it will be shipped. EShipGlobal also sends a confirmation email and provides tracking details.

How long will it take to ship my package after I have submitted my request?

The ISSS processing time for shipping requests is 2 business days.

I already have an eShipGlobal account. Do I still need to complete the e-form in ISSS Link?

Yes. ISSS Link and eShipGlobal are now integrated systems. In order to create a shipment, you must access eShipGlobal through the Document Shipment Request e-form in ISSS Link. Emory students and scholars can no longer access eShipGlobal directly through the company website. However, if you already have an account, you can provide your account information in the e-form.

Visit the eShipGlobal FAQ website for answers to other common questions. If you have additional questions, you may contact eShipGlobal directly.

How can I complete the form in ISSS Link if I do not have a valid Emory NetID and password?
