Troubleshooting ISSS Link Errors
If ISSS Link is giving you an error when logging in or submitting a form, there are a few solutions we recommend. If you still have issues after trying the suggested solutions, please contact us by phone, e-mail, or walk-in advising hours for further assistance.
CREDENTIALS
Confirm you have the correct credentials. You can confirm your NetID here.
Scholars: Please e-mail or call our office for confirmation that your record in our system was set up correctly.
LOOPING ERROR
If your login page refreshes each time you attempt to log into ISSS Link, please login through Limited Services Access.
BROWSER
Google Chrome tends to have the most issues with ISSS Link. Try clearing your browser cache and cookies, using a different browser, or changing to a private/incognito tab.
DOCUMENTS FAIL TO UPLOAD
- If your documents will not upload after trying to submit a form, it may be due to their file size. Try compressing your file size.
- Please remove any non-alphanumeric or non-English characters from the file name of your uploads. For example, (: * ? " < > |) in file names. Dashes (-) or underscores (_) are safe.
- Confirm that your document is a PDF file.
E-FORM NOT SUBMITTING
- Change your browser. Google Chrome tends to have the most issues with ISSS Link.
- Try to use an incognito or private browser to submit the form
- Connect to Emory’s VPN. Instructions for how to do this process can be found here.
- Clear your browser cache and cookies
- The webpage may have “timed out” if you’ve had the form open for a long time. Try saving your progress, exiting out, and opening a new tab to submit the form.
- Sometimes users receive the error message “Error - You must correct your errors below and resubmit”, but the form may be successfully received despite the error message. Please email or call our office to confirm that your form was received.
AVOIDING UNWANTED E-FORM CANCELATION
If you are not ready to submit your form, but would like to save your progress, click ‘Save a Draft.’ Be sure not to click ‘Cancel’.
