We are looking forward to you starting your Emory program. To help you settle in and transition smoothly to life in the US, ISSS oversees the international student check-in process and provides orientation sessions that all international students should attend.

• International Student Check-In: Submit the "Arrival Confirmation Form" e-form found under the "New Students" tab in ISSS Link to complete the mandatory international student check-in process and have your SEVIS record activated. Completion of this form is required in order to maintain your immigration status, apply for certain benefits (i.e. SSN or driver's license), and complete the on-campus employment onboarding process.
  
  
• Orientation: Each school or program will host its own required orientation for international students, where ISSS will give an immigration presentation called "Let's Talk About Your Immigration Status." During this session you will be able to get answers to any questions you might have. We will also share information about our events and programs, social media and e-newsletter.
