ISSS Black History Month Field Trip

Join ISSS for a daylong journey to two important Atlanta landmarks- the National Center for Civil and Human Rights and the King Center - to celebrate Black History Month!

The trip will focus on the history of the civil rights movement in the United States and the ongoing fight for justice and dignity for all people today. Entry to both exhibits as well as a group lunch will be included.

Learn more about the National Center for Civil and Human Rights (NCCHR), the King Center, and their missions at the links below:

Applications are open to all international students and scholars (however priority will be given to students and scholars studying or working under immigration documents issued by ISSS).

Space is limited and will be given on a first-come, first-served basis after the review of all applications. The event is free to attend and includes transportation, admission to both centers, breakfast, and lunch.

To express your interest and receive a link to the application for the trip please RSVP to this Hub event by selecting “I will be attending”.

We will send out the application link to the first 54 registrants by Wednesday, February 7. If spots remain the application link will then be provided to the waitlist on a rolling basis.
