Pre-Arrival Webinar Series for Incoming Students ISSS partners with various support units on campus to offer pre-arrival webinars to incoming undergraduate, graduate and professional international students on a variety of topics they need to know before coming to the U.S. and Emory (International Student Panel Q & A, Immigration matters, Healthcare and Health Insurance in the U.S., Off-campus Housing, Paying Tuition from Abroad, Cultural Adjustment, etc.). |
New International Student Welcome ISSS hosts a special event each fall to welcome our new international students. New International students will receive an invitation email from ISSS with a link to register. |

Global Festival ISSS invites the entire Emory community to our annual Global Festival in collaboration with the International Student Leadership and Advocacy Board (ISLAB)! International Community Friday Lunch Hosted by ISSS and the Office of Spiritual and Religious Life, International Coffee Hour is an opportunity to meet students and scholars from around the globe, learn more about on- and off-campus resources, and feel part of the Emory community while enjoying free lunch. Scholarships for NAFSA Advocacy Day Have you wondered how you can be a voice for international students at Emory and in the US? Do you know how to advocate for immigration policies that affect your life as an international student? ISSS awards scholarships to three international students to participate in the NAFSA Advocacy Day in Washington D.C. in March. NAFSA is the leading US non-profit organization committed to international education. |
International Student Graduation Reception The International Student Graduation Reception is an opportunity to celebrate undergraduate, graduate, and professional international students and their academic accomplishments. International students graduating in May will receive an invitation email from ISSS with a link to register. |
