Emory University’s international scholars are a vital part of our community. They are involved in everything from postdoctoral training to teaching to performing cutting-edge research. The majority of our scholars carry J-1 or H-1B visas.

International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) guides international scholars and their hosting departments through the immigration sponsorship process and serves as a bridge for international scholars to get involved in Emory’s global community right here on campus.
